The Terrell Tigers returned to the court following the Thanksgiving holiday this week, making the short trek to Mesquite to tangle with North Mesquite Stallions in a non-district showdown. Terrell would come up short in the contest, falling behind in the second quarter and never recovering in a 51-39 setback to the 6A Stallions.

The first domino of the 2022-’24 redistricting and realignment cycle fell recently with districts across the state submitting current enrollment figures. Terrell reportedly submitted an enrollment figure of 1,411 for its high school campus.

The Terrell Lady Tigers are slated to hit their busiest stretch of the season this week, hitting the court multiple times over the course of a two-day span at Dodd City’s annual Craig Reed Invitational Tournament.
