Body DAVID KAPITAN The Iris Stage at Books and Crannies in downtown Terrell is set to come alive Sept. 9-18 as The Vagabond Players stage “Farce of Habit”, a comedic play written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.

Body Sept. 3: Film Alley, located at 750 American Way, will host a benefit car show from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Proceeds from the event will raise funds and awareness for Jonathan Boys, who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The registration fee is $20 per entry.

Body For the second time this week, Attorney General Paxton and a bipartisan group of attorneys general announced an agreement in principle to address the opioid crisis. The proposed settlement would require the former opioid maker Allergan to pay up to $2.

Body The Sabine River Authority of Texas (SRA) was pleased to award the Elmo WSC a Community Assistance Program Grant on Aug. 16 as part of SRA’s Fiscal Year 2022 Economic Development Initiative. The $20,000 check will be used to relocate water lines.
