Sept. 3: Film Alley, located at 750 American Way, will host a benefit car show from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Proceeds from the event will raise funds and awareness for Jonathan Boys, who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Citizen’s Police Academy

The newest graduates of Terrell Citizen’s Police Academy participated in graduation ceremonies Aug. 18. Presenters and attendees at the event included Terrell Chief of Police Ken McKeown, Captain Micheal Bulin, Mayor Rick Carmona and other alumni. In addition to a dinner, graduates were also presented special certificates to mark the occasion. The next Terrell Citizen’s Police Academy is scheduled to begin courses Sept. 29.
