Nov. 24: The Center will be hosting its second annual Turkey Trot 5k Race and One-Mile Fun Run in Kaufman on the square.

After an absence of two years due to COVID-19, the Social Science Club of Terrell once again presents the “Christmas in a Small Town” Tour of Homes. This year it will occur on December 3 from 2-7 p.m. and will include five beautiful homes, three of which have never been on tour.

Martha Johnita (Gallini) Greer passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, in Rockwall, surrounded by close family members.

Six years have passed since a drunk driver killed Azeza Salama’s fiancé and sent her and her two children to the hospital, but her memories of the crash remain as vivid as the day it happened. The Terrell Tigers have been a team on a mission in recent weeks, closing district play with a flourish before upsetting Texas High in the bi-district round of the playoffs Nov. 11.

For their inaugural Christmas Extravaganza, the Tyler Junior College Apache Band and Apache Belles are hauling out the holly, the tinsel and the showstopping holiday tunes — plus a few surprises. “In honor of the 75th anniversary of the TJC Apache Belles and Apache Band, we’re celebrating ‘the most wonderful time of the year’ — together!” said Apache Belles Director Jasilyn Schaefer.
