Lady Tigers searching for district wins

The Terrell Lady Tigers continued their match through district play last week, looking to put together competitive efforts against solid teams from Red Oak and Ennis. Terrell opened play at home, falling behind early and never recovering in a 23-2 setback to Red Oak.

The annexations discussed during public hearings on March 20 date back to areas grandfathered for annexation under 2019’s HB 347.

The Terrell Fire Department responded to a plane crash April 11 at the Terrell Municipal Airport. The plane left the runway surface and crashed into the grass while performing a routine landing. According to the TFD, “Both the pilot and passenger escaped the crash with only minor injuries.”
