editor@terrelltribune.com Terrell’s K-9 Max, alongside Officer Michael Anders and multiple police departments, made an arrest on a fleeing suspect Tuesday. Terrell K-9 Office Michael Anders initiated a traffic stop on a black 2010 Nissan Sentra for expired vehicle registration.

Members of the Terrell ISD staff, Texas Health Resources, Special Olympic students and visitors all take their first look at the new Tiger Mart established at Herman Furlough, Jr. Middle School during its ribbon cutting ceremony Sept. 14. The Tiger Mart provides students in need with mental health services and access to healthy foods with its unique grocery store right on campus.

On August 16 at the Kaufman County Courthouse, the Honorable Judge Tracy Gray officially swore in six new CASA volunteers. This marks the inaugural swearing- in ceremony for a class in Kaufman County.

1959-2023 Katrinka Mohon Massheder passed away on Aug. 26, 2023 leaving behind her two sons, Eric McNulty and Seth Massheder, four granddaughters, Aunt Norma VanLandingham and Uncle John Rath and two brothers, Steve Mohon and Scott Mohon, nieces and a nephew and friends.

A program that helps fight hunger with an in-school grocery store that allows students to make purchases with points earned for things like good behavior, is now in place at Herman Furlough, Jr. Middle School.
