1932-2025 Mr. John Thomas LaRoe, age 92 passed away at home on Saturday, January 11, 2025.

1938-2024 Joyce Fay Davis of Ables Springs was called home to be with her Lord Jesus on December 15, 2024. She was born April 16, 1938 to parents James and Dixie Davis in the Ables Springs Community of Kaufman County.

Kaufman County swore in their newest officials to kick off the 2025 calendar year. The county will see two new commissioners as Terry Crow and Kelly Lane take over their respective districts.
