“Remembering 9/11 From the Flight Deck of Air Force One” is the title of retired Air Force Lt. Col. Everett DeWolfe’s talk at the No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum’s Conversations With… series on Oct. 9 at the Museum, 119 Silent Wings Blvd in Terrell. The luncheon will begin at noon.

This week, I’ll tell you about the encounters I’ve had through my many years with a few really big boar, animals weighing in excess of 250 pounds. I can feel the adrenaline pumping as I mull over these past hunts.

Class of ’65 plans homecoming reunion

The Terrell High School Class of 1965 is gathering this weekend to celebrate its 60th reunion. This historic class was the first in school history to graduate with 100 students, and approximately 31 classmates are expected to return for the festivities.
