This grant was awarded for the purchase of a new Truck Mounted Attenuator Unit that will be utilized to protect first responders as they work incidents on roadways.

The Terrell Tigers and Lady Tigers varsity soccer teams are preparing for their Bi-District playoff matchups against the Lovejoy Leopards. The Lady Tigers and Tigers take on Lovejoy Tuesday, March 26 with the girls’ team playing at 6 p.m.

TVCC Art Department accepting high school submissions

Trinity Valley Community College Art Department is excited to announce the third call for the High School Art Show. The goal is to encourage students to pursue further studies beyond high school and familiarize them with a local college campus. The show will be in a digital format and two $2,000 scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships will be applied for four semesters of tuition and fees in a studio course. Each student may submit up to three images completed in the student’s senior year. Submissions can be emailed to Art Department Coordinator and Professor of Studio Art September Kirk at September.kirk@tvcc.edu by Monday, April 1. Winners will be announced at the opening of the TVCC Student Art Show on April 23.
