editor@terrelltribune.com The Terrell Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will partner up for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 28.

The Terrell SWAT team and Narcotics Investigators made quite the seizure while serving a warrant Wednesday, Oct. 4. The two agencies executed a search warrant in the 400 block of Elizabeth Street in Terrell. The suspect was not at the location at the time of the warrant execution. Officers seized 2.2 lbs. of marijuana, 42 g of powder cocaine, cash from the alleged proceeds of illegal activity and four semi-automatic rifles. The subject remains at large according to a press release from the Terrell Police Department.

An early morning fire damaged three apartment units in Terrell Friday, Sept. 29 according to the Terrell Fire Department.
