Elections Department offering equipment demonstrations

The deadline for Texas to register to vote ahead of state and local elections is Tuesday, Oct. 10 for the Nov. 7 election. The Kaufman County Elections Department (KCED) will engage the community and register voters at their office at 3001 S. Washington St. in Kaufman from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Oct. 10.

County approves pyrotechnics display

Terrell ISD hosted their College Fair at the ExCel Center for prospective students Sept. 14. Many college recruiters and students were in attendance and many Terrell ISD students received great information for their secondary education.

McAllister’s Deli coming to Terrell this Fall

The Saxton Group, a restaurant franchisee in the fast casual space, will open a McAlister’s Deli in Terrell this fall. Located at 534 American Way, the restaurant will showcase a digital centric design featuring kiosk ordering, window-side pickup for online and app orders, as well as delivery.
