A farewell reception recognizing outgoing Kaufman County Judge Hal Richards and outgoing Precinct 4 Commissioner Ken Cates has been scheduled for Dec. 28 from 2-4 p.m. at the Kaufman County Justice Center located at 1902 US Highway 175 in Kaufman.

While the Tiger varsity football program generated plenty of headlines after not only making the jump to the 5A classification and reaching the Regional Quarterfinal round of the playoffs during the 2022 season, younger student- athletes in Terrell also excelled on the gridiron and in the classroom Among those standouts was Aubree Runnels, a 10-year-old that not only suited up as part of the local youth foot- ball program, but also showed out to earn team MVP honors after starring on both the offensive and defensive lines.
