The Terrell Garden Club announced their Yard of the Month for October. .

The State Fair of Texas kicked off its 2024 calendar on Friday, Sept. 27 in Fair Park in Dallas. From delicious fried treats to brand news cars, live music, cold drinks, games and so much, the State Fair of Texas offers it all to all ages. The State Fair of Texas closes Sunday, Oct. 20.

Terrell Kiwanis Club had an enlightening presentation Thursday, July 25 by the esteemed Kaufman County District Attorney Erleigh Wily. She was joined by Lead Investigator Mike Holley and Kaufman County Street Crimes Unit Brian Reed, Xavier Jamison and Gilbert Sanchez. We have 15 gangs in Kaufman County and this team is working hard to change that.

This floral design class was done at the Hulsey Public Library, in partnership with The Delovely Brand. Live flowers were used to create these stunning floral arrangements. Each person was able to create their own to take home and enjoy.

In recent years, the NCL (National Charity League) Lone Star Chapter, dedicated to promoting community service and fostering mother-daughter relationships, has actively contributed to Lone Star CASA’s mission through volunteerism and fundraising efforts.

I must confess I have always wanted to be part of a studio audience and see first-hand what goes into the making of a television episode. So, when I saw a chance to be part of an audience for the new Dr. Phil Primetime show filming in Fort Worth, I responded. I took along my daughter-in-law, Catie to be part of the adventure.
