On Friday, Sept. 11, fallen Terrell Officer Jacob Candanoza was honored with the Star of Texas Award, presented by Texas Governor Greg Abbott in recognition of his service and ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Jacob’s family, joined by members of the Terrell Police Department, proudly accepted the award in his honor.
