Multiple fire departments battled a large grass fire in the Cottonwood area over multiple days last weekend.

Terrell and Kaufman Volunteer Fire Departments were dispatched to the 7400 block of FM 987 on Saturday, July 11 for a report of multiple grass fires burning along the roadway.
