editor@terrelltribune.com A man reported missing after a car accident was found deceased after an extensive four-day search in Kaufman. The missing person, Logan Jacinto, 40, was found dead in a creek on private property near where the crash happened days before on U.S.

The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a car accident at Old Highway 34 and Frances St. Jan.

April 8, 2024, marks a day of celestial wonder as Terrell prepares to witness a oncein- a-century event: a total solar eclipse. This astronomical phenomenon, where the moon completely obscures the sun, turning day into night, is set to cast it’s shadow over North Texas, with Terrell at its epicenter.

As a leader of the civil rights movement, Martin Luther King, Jr. worked tirelessly to promote justice, peace and equality for all people. His words and actions inspired millions around the world to fight injustice and engender change through nonviolence. Today, much progress has been made, but much work remains to be done. You can honor Dr. King’s memory through your actions by observing the MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 20. When we work together to make the world a better place through service to our communities, we come one step closer to realizing Dr. King’s dream.

Few people in American history have had as strong an impact on the United States as Martin Luther King, Jr., the civil rights leader who was slain in 1968 at the age of 39. Through his message of nonviolence and civil disobedience as a means to advancing civil rights for all people, King changed the lives of millions. Those changes that are still felt today, nearly half a century after his death.
