Members of the Terrell High School track and field team traveled to Forney March 3, officially kick-starting their season with an appearance at the annual Clay Jones Memorial Relays. Terrell finished fourth overall in the varsity boys division with 87 points, behind Forney, Richardson Pearce and North Forney, and ahead of Dallas Wilson, Richardson, North Garland and Nevada Community.

The Terrell Tiger baseball program hit the field four times over a three-day stretch last week, taking on teams from Cooper, Crowley, South Hills and Lubbock High. Despite some solid play Terrell would go just 1-3 overall with a win over South Hills.

The Terrell Tiger baseball program had its hands full this week, clashing with a talented Ferris squad in an early season test. Terrell would come away victorious, rallying from a 6-4 sixth inning deficit to score a 7-6 win.

The Terrell Tigers had their hands full last week, clashing with a tall, athletic Paris Wildcats squad in the Area round of this year’s 4A playoffs. Terrell would keep things competitive throughout much of the first half before Paris pulled away for a 79-61 win over the Tigers.

The Terrell Lady Tigers continued to prove themselves as the class of the field in District 12- 4A last week, blitzing an overmatched Ferris squad by a 5-0 score to maintain a one game lead over current runner-up Mabank.

Powerlifters representing Terrell High School made the short trek to Forney Feb. 12, competing against some of the top schools in the area at the annual Jackrabbit Invitational Meet.
