Lady Tigers fend off Athens

The Terrell Lady Tigers have been virtually automatic throughout the 2022 season, posting impressive win after impressive win despite playing a schedule that includes some of the better teams from across the area. That trend continued last week as the Lady Tigers notched two more wins to maintain their perfect run through district play.

Track teams compete at Clay Jones Memorial Relays

Members of the Terrell High School track and field team traveled to Forney March 3, officially kick-starting their season with an appearance at the annual Clay Jones Memorial Relays. Terrell finished fourth overall in the varsity boys division with 87 points, behind Forney, Richardson Pearce and North Forney, and ahead of Dallas Wilson, Richardson, North Garland and Nevada Community.

Tigers punch ticket to Area round

The Terrell Tigers entered postseason play riding high, having notched district wins over Quinlan Ford, Farmersville, Caddo Mills and Sunnyvale since the calendar turned to February. The start of the playoffs did little to slow Terrell’s momentum as the Tigers more than held their own in a 54-42 win over District 14-4A runners-up Athens Feb.
