Mayor Rick Carmona issued a Mayoral Proclamation to Tyler Wade Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the regular city council meeting in recognition of his back-toback world championship wins in team roping. Joining him for the presentation was his wife, Jessi, and his parents, Jerry and Raelyn Wade.

Heidi Edwards, Executive Assistant to the TVCC-Terrell Campus Director, received the Staff Excellence Award for her dedication to fostering collaboration, communication, and teamwork.

Multiple students from Terrell were named to the Tyler Junior College President’s and Dean’s list. Tyler Junior College recently recognized 1,664 students named to the president’s and dean’s lists for their academic excellence during the Fall 2024 semester.
