The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department and Terrell Police Department

Body
The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department and Terrell Police Department responded to a single-vehicle accident on Longspur Lane during the early afternoon hours April 19. In a post on the TVFD Facebook page officials noted, “We were advised that children were involved and possibly injured. Firefighters arrived less than 9 minutes later to find a Jeep that had lost control, crashed into the ditch and vaulted into a nose-down position in a tree. Terrell PD was also on scene. We were able to remove the driver and her baby, and personnel immediately began providing medical care to both patients. Both were ultimately transported by CareFlite to a local hospital for further treatment. TVFD units remained on scene until the vehicle could be removed by a wrecker."
