Agnes Miller, 85, of Terrell, Texas went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, September 21, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at Max Slayton Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Oakland Cemetery hosted the Terrell Tales to allow visitors a look into the history of the City of Terrell Sept. 16. Visitors were enthralled with live action role players narrating those buried at Oakland Cemetery that have their hands in the history of the city. Stops along the tour include the grave site of Robert A. Terrell for which the city was named after.
The story of Merrill’s Marauders, one of the most unique units in World War II, will be the subject of the BFTS Museum’s Oct. 5 program. Alongside their Chinese and British allies, this U.S. Army unit pushed the Japanese out of Burma, ultimately preserving British control over India. Dr. James Sandy, assistant professor of history at the University of Texas- Arlington will make the presentation.
The Terrell Heritage Society is thrilled to present this season's Featured Exhibit ''The History of Terrell Schools.' The exhibit features photographs and artifacts from TISD spanning the time period between the turn of the century to the 1960s. 'The History of Terrell Schools' opened to the public on September 2, 2023 and will run through the beginning of next year.
