July 4: The July 4th Fireworks show returns to the Terrell Municipal Airport (400 E. British Flying School) from 6-9 p.m.

The Terrell Police Department made a drug bust Thursday, June 20 that yielded more fentanyl. Terrell Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant at 1007 E.

According to a press release from the SPCA of Texas, on Wednesday, June 20, an arrest warrant was issued for City of Wills Point Animal Control Officer Michael Bradford Goggans. He was taken into custody and charged with Cruelty to Non-livestock Animals – Torture, which is a third-degree felony, and was booked into the Van Zandt County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
