The Terrell Tigers boys’ varsity basketball team first half struggles forced a loss on Tuesday night at home against the Crandall Pirates on Jan. 21.

The Terrell Tigers and Lady Tigers soccer teams competed hard in their home Winter Classic Tournament Jan. 16-18 at Memorial Stadium.

On January 14th, the opening day of the 89th Legislative Session, Representative Keith Bell (R-Forney) was sworn in for his fourth term as State Representative for District 4. Heidi Edwards, Executive Assistant to the TVCC-Terrell Campus Director, received the Staff Excellence Award for her dedication to fostering collaboration, communication, and teamwork.

Multiple students from Terrell were named to the Tyler Junior College President’s and Dean’s list. Tyler Junior College recently recognized 1,664 students named to the president’s and dean’s lists for their academic excellence during the Fall 2024 semester.

As part of its continued commitment to improve the health of those in the communities it serves, Texas Health Resources is investing another $5 million in grants to local organizations that work collaboratively to creatively tackle the health disparities and socioeconomic hardships impacting North Texans.
