We’ve all seen it, coaches and administrators blaming others when things go wrong. Whether it’s losing a game, missing enrollment targets, being passed over for a position, or facing tough criticism, some leaders resort to pointing fingers.

In 1990, a very young Garth Brooks released the highly successful single, “Unanswered Prayers,” forever planting him on the music map. The song quickly catapulted to the top of the billboards and stayed there for months. Even some 35 years later, it amplifies across airwaves.

The Terrell Youth Athletes Association hosted their first ever First Responders Expo at Ben Gill Park on June 7. The event featured lots of fun and a sunny day full of games and was well attended by multiple agencies and first responders. Additional photos on 9A.

Terrell High School Tigerette Line and Social Officers spent the early days of June at Danceline’s Officer Camp in Denton. Line Officers received high scores on both their leadership evaluation and dance evaluation and Socials worked hard to create a choice board and team calendar for the year.
