Cadet’s Son To Speak at BFTS Museum

The son of a British cadet who learned to fly in Terrell in 1943 will be the Nov. 13 speaker at the BFTS Museum in Terrell. Graham A. D. Broyd, a retired British-American banker is the author of a recently published book, “Backpack, Jacket, Surfboard: My Journey Across America, Then and Now” tells the story of Graham’s hitchhiking journey across America back in 1980 and his revisit of that same trip in 2024.

As one of the top Doobie Brothers tribute bands currently touring the United States, “The Brothers Doobie” will perform live in concert at the Jamie Foxx Performing Arts Center in Terrell on Thursday evening, November 6, 2025. The curtain goes up at 7:30 PM.

No. 1 BFTS Museum adds holiday touch to British Bash

The No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum is adding extra holiday sparkle to this year’s Brit Bash on Saturday, Nov. 8, with the launch of its brandnew Merchandise Tent. Ye Olde Saint Nick will be a festive shopping space spanning over 500 square feet.

TVCC Terrell Health Science Center names Homecoming King and Queen

The TVCC Terrell Health Science Center proudly recognized Caii Finley and Emma Lopez Acosta as the 2025 Homecoming King and Queen. Representing the Terrell Health Science Center as Queen, Emma Lopez Acosta is a sophomore nursing major from Kemp and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Representing the HSC as King, Caii Finley is a Forney High School graduate pursuing a degree in nursing. Although unable to attend, he is celebrated for his leadership and dedication to the program.
