Terrell ISD hosts Pearls for Girls

Terrell ISD hosted their Pearls for Girls event at the ExCEL Center in Terrell on Thursday, Nov. 20. The event brings together Terrell ISD girls and women to have breakfast and fellowship with sixth-grade female scholars. They are then paired with a young scholar to connect with and present them with a pearl necklace.

Officer Candanoza candlelight vigil set for Dec. 8

A candlelight vigil has been scheduled for fallen Terrell Police Officer Jacob Candanoza on Monday, Dec. 8. On the one-year anniversary of the shooting death of Officer Candanoza, the Terrell Police Department is holding a vigil to honor and remember the life of Candanoza and his family.
