Two people were transported after a major accident on U.S. Highway 80 in Elmo on Monday, July 21.

Around 12:51 p.m., Elmo Fire Department was dispatched to a major accident in the eastbound lanes of Highway 80 near Dollar General. College Mound Fire Department was requested for assistance.
