City schedules annexation public hearings for March 20

ALISON WALKER Public Information Officer, City of Terrell Kaufman County was recently named the fastest growing county in the nation. In order to address the need for roads and for police and public services to keep up with this record growth, City of Terrell officials have initiated annexation proceedings for multiple areas outside of the city limits.

Wills Point man arrested following welfare check

A 49-year-old Wills Point man was arrested and booked into the Van Zandt County Jail Feb. 20 following an investigation that revealed he had been keeping the deceased body of his mother at a residence located along County Road 3828.
