THS earns AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award

Terrell High School has earned the College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science A. Schools honored with the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded girls’ access in AP computer science courses.

SH 34 closure at Kings Creek begins

Weather permitting, The Texas Department of Transportation will temporarily close one lane on State Highway 34 at Kings Creek Drive through the spring of 2022, as work begins to add a left turn lane at this intersection.

Ahmad Rhodes won a $500 purchase certificate toward a beef or dairy heifer for a 4-H or FFA project for exhibition at next year’s Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Sales tax revenues climb locally

The City of Terrell picked up where it left off to open the new year, seeing another increase in its sales tax revenue growth, according to the office of Texas State Comptroller Glenn Hegar. According to data released earlier this month, Terrell received a payment of $1,423,066.16 in January 2022.

Terrell PD seeks robbery suspect

The Terrell Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance this week after an as yet unidentified subject committed a burglary at a downtown business Jan. 12.
Local law enforcement officials are seeking any and all information regarding a burglary that occurred in the early morning hours Jan. 12 in the 1200 block of W.
