The Oakland Alliance will be placing American flags on the graves of veterans at Oakland Memorial Cemetery in Terrell on Saturday in commemoration of Memorial Day. The Alliance is comprised of Patty Yocum, Gay Fowler and Jean and Dale Thompson.

Reagan Oliver of Terrell was among 601 students to graduate May 15 from Union University during spring commencement services. Oliver graduates with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering.
Marques Deshun Crouch of Terrell was among those recognized for the spring 2021 Dean’s List at Central Methodist University. Crouch, a senior, is majoring in business.
