On November 2, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas, Shirley Bruner was honored with the Suzanne McDaniel Award at the Texas District and County Attorneys Association (TDCAA) Key Personnel-Victim Assistance Coordinator Annual Conference. This annual event attracts over 300 Texas prosecutor-office personnel for a week of training and recognizing the people who daily make a difference in our counties.

Governor Greg Abbott celebrated three major employment milestones following the release of March jobs data showing Texas again breaking all previous records for total jobs, total Texans employed, and total Texas labor force.

The Texas Association of Appraisal Districts announced another year of sustained growth in Texas real estate values in a press release issued April 25. According to the association, regions around the state have seen increases in values between 10-35 percent since last year.
