The Terrell Tigers and Lady Tigers varsity soccer teams are preparing for their Bi-District playoff matchups against the Lovejoy Leopards. The Lady Tigers and Tigers take on Lovejoy Tuesday, March 26 with the girls’ team playing at 6 p.m.

Trinity Valley Community College Art Department is excited to announce the third call for the High School Art Show. The goal is to encourage students to pursue further studies beyond high school and familiarize them with a local college campus. The show will be in a digital format and two $2,000 scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships will be applied for four semesters of tuition and fees in a studio course. Each student may submit up to three images completed in the student’s senior year. Submissions can be emailed to Art Department Coordinator and Professor of Studio Art September Kirk at September.kirk@tvcc.edu by Monday, April 1. Winners will be announced at the opening of the TVCC Student Art Show on April 23.

The City of Terrell is set to begin their mosquito spraying schedule in mid-April through mid-September. Spraying will begin Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17.

With a distinguished career in both corporate America and Chamber administration, Carlton brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of leadership to the TEDC.

City of Terrell Public Information Officer The City of Terrell received a 2022 Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for the Community Resiliency Program Grant. This grant was awarded for the purchase of a new Special Operations Unit that will be utilized to further support public safety efforts.
