Mayor Rick Carmona and Terrell Council Member Jorge Vargas welcomed Run for the Wall riders making their annual fuel stop at Brookshire’s in Terrell on Sunday, May 17. The Terrell Chamber of Commerce, Terrell Fire Department, Chub’s Towing and all the veterans’ groups participated in the event. Terrell High School freshman Addie Johnston of Terrell High School Choir also sang the National Anthem.

The City of Terrell announced that construction on the new Breezy Hill splash pad began Tuesday, May 11. The new community amenity is slated to open later this summer according to the City of Terrell.
