Sassy Sistas would like to thank each and every person who attended our 3rd annual 2022 Bunco Fundraiser for CURE. We had a great turnout, and each of the attendees, in their own special way, contributed more than they know. We managed to raise over $1,500 (we don’t have the exact total yet). These funds will go to help our charity CURE Childhood Cancer.

The City of Terrell is expected to be a hive of activity over the weekend with two distinct events, the inaugural Terrell Mural Walk and the 13th annual Allied Memorial Remembrance Ride, each set to take place Sept. 17.

Traffic along Interstate 20 was brought to a crawl during the early morning hours September 12 following a vehicle fire that began in a truck hauling two trailers. In a narrative of the incident posted online TVFD officials stated, “At 4:57 a.m., we were dispatched to a vehicle fire on eastbound I-20 between FM 1641 and FM 148.

Sales tax revenue collections spike 15.16 percent
