The Citizens Police Academy offers community members a unique opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of the Terrell Police Department.

Terrell Airport will be hosting Airplanes and Coffee fly-in event on Saturday, April 11 at Terrell Municipal Airport from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

editor@terrelltribune.com Another free, family-fun event is coming to the City of Terrell on Saturday, March 21 with a Kids Survival Skills Camp and Family Outdoor Skills Training. The class is a free family training day that will take place from 10 a.m.

March 22-23: Kaufman County Day in Austin returns on Sunday, March 22 through Monday, March 23 at the State Capitol in Austin. Members of the Cities of Crandall, Forney, Kaufman, Kemp, Mabank, Mesquite and Terrell Chambers, ISDs, City staff, EDC and more will be on hand to network and speak with representatives about the happening in Kaufman County.

Terrell ISD is hosting their “Senior- Senior” luncheon on Thursday, The luncheon includes invites to Terrell’s Silver Tigers, age 55 and up to come and meet members of the Class of 2026. Visitors can enjoy a wonderful lunch and great fellowship with Terrell High School’s seniors.

Kaufman County Grand Jury returned 33 indictments March 8. Indictment information obtained from the District Clerk’s office does not include ages or addresses of defendants.

March 14: The 3rd Annual Gunny’s Clay Shoot “Pulling Clays for Veterans” will take place on Saturday, March 14 at the Texas Gun Ranch in Terrell, located at 15950 State Highway 205. The event will benefit the Veteran Resource Center.
