I honestly think the planning stage of an upcoming outdoor adventure is ‘almost’as much fun as the outing itself. A good case in point is a fishing trip I have planned later this week.
Terrell Police Department swore in their newest officers while announce promotions for current police officers during a ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 12. Terrell PD welcomed their newest members, Officer Garza and Officer Donaldson. They also announced promotions for Captain Tidwell, Lieutenant Elias, Lieutenant Brock and Sergeant McKnight.

The Terrell High School Cross Examination Debate team took the Gold at the District 15-5A tournament. Manny Martinez and Rory Peek won first place after being undefeated during the five rounds for this tournament. Both have advanced to State. Elliot Guthrie and David Bailon are State alternates, and Angel Santos and Jazmin Mera placed seventh in their first year as competitors. These students have earned points towards the overall academic championship for Terrell HS under their Coach Keith Guthrie.
