TERRELL TREASURE

Body
DAVID KAPITAN editor@terrelltribune.com The E! Terrell Entertainment Series has become a staple of the local community over the last two decades, making its mark by bringing world-class musicians and performers from a wide array of disciplines to the Jamie Foxx Performing Arts Center. While those big-time concerts and performances have helped put and keep Terrell on the map as an entertainment destination, the true heartbeat of E! Terrell’s success can be found in the volunteers that have spent countless hours behind the scenes selling tickets, booking performers, marketing shows and handling the other day-to-day operations for no pay and little recognition.
The success of the E! Terrell Entertainment Series has largely been spurred by the volunteers that have devoted countless hours towards booking and promoting local shows throughout the area. The entertainment series officially kicked off its 20th season Sept. 8 with “Through the Years,” a performance with the Kenny Rogers Band featuring Don Gatlin. Courtesy photo
