The Young Eagles Rally aviation program hosted more than 100 children as they were able to fly through the sky on a free flight and discover their love for aviation Saturday, Sept. 14 at Terrell Municipal Airport.

To celebrate National Voter Registration Day, the Kaufman County Elections Department is encouraging citizens to register to vote and/or update their voter registration ahead of the Presidential Election. Individuals interested in participating, can do so at KCED headquarters, 3001 S. Washington St., Kaufman TX on September 17, 2024, during extended hours from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. There will also be opportunities for individuals to apply to be a poll worker or view equipment demonstrations.

The North Texas Antique Tractor and Engine Club’s Show, Pull and Swap meet has been rescheduled and will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and 15, at Ben Gill Park in Terrell. The show hours are Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
