Two members of the Terrell ISD FFA were honored at Terrell ISD’s school board meeting, Monday, Aug. 19. Gabriela Banales, a four-year exhibitor of Market Lambs and the Chapter President in her senior year, and Presley Briggs, a participant in Market Steers, Market Rabbits and Breeder Rabbits, with her rabbits earning a national ranking. Both students earned their Lone Star Degrees at the Texas FFA Convention this summer.

The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office and Kaufman County Precinct 2 deputies successfully recovered over $100,000 worth of stolen property from Forney and a stolen vehicle from Kemp Wednesday, Aug. 21.
