Social Science Club to host Tour of Homes Dec. 3

After an absence of two years due to COVID-19, the Social Science Club of Terrell once again presents the “Christmas in a Small Town” Tour of Homes. This year’s event has been scheduled for Dec. 3 from 2-7 p.m.

Ms. Heath will discuss her book at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at the No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum located at 119 Silent Wings Blvd.

State sales tax revenue totaled $3.8 billion in October

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.82 billion in October, 11.9 percent more than in October 2021. The majority of October sales tax revenue is based on sales made in September and remitted to the agency in October.

Anderson named to STAR Transit Board of Directors

Debbie Anderson, a Mesquite City Council member and longtime active resident, has been elected by the STAR Transit Board of Directors to serve as one of its seven primary members. Anderson replaces Mesquite Mayor DanAleman on the board.

STAR Transit offering Election Day rides
