NHRA Sportsman racer and Paris, Texas native Mark Sharrock has announced the formation of a new Top Fuel team to compete on a limited schedule in the 2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series.

The Terrell Tiger soccer team got its first taste of tournament play last week, squaring off against some of the area’s top programs at the Princeton Tournament.

Like all of you I’m sure, the past year provided great times in the outdoors that we will never forget as well as a few challenges. Looking back on the past twelve months, it’s the many positive experiences that I best remember.

The Terrell Tigers shook off the rust of the lengthy holiday break on Tuesday night, playing host to the Crandall Pirates. Terrell would struggle to find its way in the contest, falling behind early and never fully recovering in a 67-44 loss.

sports@terrelltribune.com The Terrell Lady Tigers opened the new soccer year in thrilling fashion last week, weathering a strong effort by North Forney to score a 5-4 win. Terrell got on the board early, pushing across a goal in the fourth minute courtesy of Maya Esquivel.

The Terrell Tigers made the leap to the 5A classification during the 2022 season, squaring off against a pool of talented opponents in the newly formed District 7-5A that also includes Melissa, Lovejoy, Crandall, Denison, Poteet, Greenville and Princeton.

The Terrell Lady Tigers delivered a strong opening statement this week, opening District 14-5A play with a 62-16 demolition of the Forney Lady Jackrabbits.
