The Terrell Tiger baseball program put the finishing touches on District 13-4A play April 22, traveling to Caddo Mills to take on the Foxes. The two teams had met three days prior with Terrell scoring a hard-fought 5-4 win on April 19.

Terrell would earn a split in the two matchups, dropping a game against Farmersville before bouncing back for an impressive win against the Foxes.

Cardettes win championship at Nationals

Trinity Valley Community College added another national championship trophy to their collection of hardware Sunday. The Cardettes Showgirls earned a championship in the Open Pom division at the DTU & College Classic Nationals competition in Orlando, Florida.

Cardinal Cheer adds 13th national championship

Scoring a 96.3982 in the Junior College Advanced Small Coed finals at the NCA Championships April 8 in Daytona Beach, Fla., Cardinal Cheer topped the six-team division. The championship-netting performance followed a deduction-free 95.8148 effort in Thursday’s preliminary round.

Tigers tame Panthers, fall to Farmers

Terrell made it look easy in their first game against Ford, limiting the Panthers to just two hits in a 13-1 rout April 5. Beau Smith was dominant both at the plate and on the mound in the contest, going 3/4 with three triples, 4 RBI and three runs scored at the plate while also allowing just two hits and an unearned run in a complete game effort.

Track competes at Naaman Forest Relays

The Terrell track and field team continued its preparations for the upcoming District 13- 4A Meet last week, competing at the annual Naaman Forest Relays in Garland March 31. Terrell came in seventh overall in the varsity girls division out of 17 competing schools.
