The Terrell ISD Department of Family and Community Engagement is proud to announce the district’s newest initiative at Furlough Middle School entitled “Dudes at the Door” which began Nov. 14.

Terrell ISD is seeking letters of interest for potential candidates for Single Member District Place 2 to be appointed by the Board of Trustees at a future date. The candidate will replace Reg Pegram who has resigned to focus on his health. Pegram’s resignation was accepted by the board on Monday, Nov. 13 at the regular school board meeting.

Terrell Mayor Rick Carmona was at the Terrell Heritage Museum proclaiming Nov. 4 as Texas Arbor Day in Terrell. Carmona was joined by The Terrell Garden Club, City of Terrell, Terrell Heritage Society and Kaufman County Master Gardeners in a master planning effort over time in the overall landscaping of the Terrell Heritage Museum.
