The back-to-school season can bring excitement for young people, but for youth in foster care, starting a new school year can feel scary and uncertain. Children enter foster care not because of any fault of their own, but because their families are in crisis.

United Way of Kaufman to host blood drive

Blood donors are lifesavers for local patients who need transfusions. This includes children fighting cancer, mothers going through difficult childbirths, family members who require surgery, and grandparents with health issues, among many others in need.

Agency grant applications being accepted for the 2024-‘25 year

United Way of Kaufman County will be conducting it annual Agency Grant reviews in February 2024. If you are an organization providing services to Kaufman County residents that are compliant with our Community Impact guidelines (Education, Health and/or Financial Stability), have a 501(c)3 standing with the IRS, have annual audits or reviews and would like an application to apply for grant money, please contact the United Way office at deb@kaufmancountyunitedway.org.
